Sentenced to 4 years in prison, as a co-author of 3 cases of cultivation of narcotic plants, committed during 2019, 34-year-old Lutfi Xeka is imprisoned. 

The latter was arrested in Spain, after being convicted by the Albanian authorities for the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants", carried out in collaboration.

Police Notification: 

State Police/Consecutive operations with Spanish partners, for the location, capture and arrest of nationals declared wanted on behalf of 2 countries.

The police operation coded "Four" is finalized by the Spanish Police, after providing information from the State Police.

Sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment, as a co-author of 3 cases of cultivation of narcotic plants, committed during 2019, the 34-year-old is imprisoned.

Following successive police operations, with Spanish partners, with the objective of locating, capturing and imprisoning citizens declared internationally wanted, the structures of the State Police have provided information on the location of a citizen sentenced to imprisonment, by the authorities in Albania.

This information, immediately exchanged with partners, through the coordination of Interpol Tirana and Interpol Madrid, has enabled the finalization in Spain of the coded police operation "Four". During the operation, it became possible to locate, capture and handcuff the citizen Lutfi Xeka, 34 years old, for the purpose of extradition to Albania.

The Court of Kruja has sentenced this citizen to 4 years of imprisonment for the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants", committed in cooperation. Citizen Lutfi Xeka, in collaboration with 11 others, cultivated hundreds of cannabis sativa narcotic plants.

The criminal activity of these citizens was attacked by the Police in 3 cases during 2019.

The work to carry out the extradition of this citizen to Albania continues./ CNA
