The 54-year-old man with the initials PK, who was wounded by gunfire on Wednesday morning in Rrila in Lezha, will remain in prison indefinitely.

The security measure was communicated to the 54-year-old at the Trauma Hospital in Tirana, where he has been receiving treatment since the day the incident occurred.

Regarding the serious incident, he stated that he shot in self-defense, as three people had ambushed him as soon as he left the children at school.

The 54-year-old is accused of the criminal offenses of "Deliberate murder", remaining in the attempt and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

The incident took place in front of the 9-year-old school "Marash Gjoni" in Rrilë, where it was first reported about the assassination of the 54-year-old.

After the investigations, it turned out that the target himself shot in the direction of the three suspected perpetrators, VT AK and KN, who were declared wanted by the police. /CNA
