Accused of child abuse/ Seized at the border, wanted by French authorities

Intensive controls by the Border Police for the prevention and suppression of cross-border crimes as well as for the capture of persons declared internationally wanted.

The 30-year-old from Montenegro, accused by the French authorities of the criminal offenses of rape and sexual relations with minors, was caught at the entrance to the Muriqan PKK and put in handcuffs for the purpose of extradition to France.

At the entrance of the Muriqan Border Crossing Point, the Border Police services, as a result of increased measures and the exchange of information with Interpol Tirana, have detained a citizen declared an international wanted:

A. D, 30 years old, resident of Montenegro.

The 30-year-old was wanted internationally by Interpol Paris/France, after the Court of Tribunal Judiciaire De Bethune/France, dated 29.07.2024, has set the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Rape" and "Commitment of sexual relations with minors" provided by the Criminal Code of France./ CNA
