The coded police operation "Contact" is finalized for the attack on a prostitution network.  

The operation was carried out by the Illegal Traffic Investigation Section at the Tirana DVP, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Tirana Judicial District Court.

1 Colombian citizen, organizer of the prostitution network, was arrested in Tirana. 

6 foreign nationals who had come to Albania to practice prostitution were put in handcuffs. 

4 citizens who had rented their apartments to foreign citizens are being prosecuted. 

Specialistët e Seksionit për Hetimin e Trafiqeve të Paligjshme në DVP Tiranë, nën drejtimin e Prokurorisë pranë Gjykatës së Rrethit Gjyqësor Tiranë, në vijim të punës për goditjen e paligjshmërive, pas një pune të mirëfilltë hetimore, organizuan dhe finalizuan operacionin policor të koduar "Contact". 

Në kuadër të këtij operacioni u bë arrestimi i shtetaseve:

B. R., 30 vjeçe, shtetase kolumbiane, për veprën penale “Shfrytëzimi i prostitucionit”;

L. P., 28 vjeçe, L. B., 23 vjeçe, Y. S., 28 vjeçe, D. B., 31 vjeçe, M. G., 21 vjeçe dhe L. B., 22 vjeçe, nga Spanja, Kolumbia, Venezuela dhe Rusia, për veprën penale “Prostitucioni”.

From the investigative actions, it has emerged that the BR citizen used for prostitution the other arrested citizens, who had come from different countries, in Albania, were accommodated in rented apartments, in different areas of Tirana and through an internet site, created contacts with different people, to practice prostitution, against payments.   

Following the actions, 4 citizens were criminally prosecuted, who had rented out, without declaring to the tax authorities, their apartments to the arrested citizens.

As material evidence, the passports of 7 arrested citizens were seized.

Work continues to identify other persons involved in this criminal activity.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions.
