Journalist Eni Ferhati said that members of the Albanian community in Belgium are involved in the drug gangs that lead in this country.

"The Albanian community in Belgium, mainly in Brussels but also in some other areas, has been an aggressive community and there has been an increased attention of local authorities on how Albanian crime has operated. "Albanian gangs have a great influence in the port of Antwerp, one of the largest ports in Europe, where large quantities of cocaine are landed," said the journalist.

He added that 4 Albanians who were part of drug gangs were executed in Belgium this year alone.

"During this year alone, 4 Albanians were executed in Belgium, in different areas. We have the murder of Bledar Muça in January 2022, who was executed in a mafia assassination there. We have the murder of Klodian Turja in February. Then Erion Hasabenliu was killed and then a 28-year-old man was also killed," said the journalist.
