"What the fuck is he doing?"/ The Albanian breaks down the incident,

3 young people from Crete were wounded with weapons on the evening of December 15 in Athens. They clashed with two Albanians after a party in a bar, and during the clash one of the Albanians, 37-year-old Nardi Idrizi, pulled out a gun and shot at them.

Idrizi's friend, Emiliano Jakupi, surrendered to the police after the incident, while he also spoke to the media of the neighboring country.

The Albanian, who is accused of complicity in the attempted murder, told how he met the author.

He claimed that he did not know that his friend was a person with a criminal record and that he was carrying a weapon

"I met him a year ago. The first contact happened in a cafe in the area of ??Agios Pavlos, in the center of Athens. We have been close friends for the past 7 months. Whenever he invited me for drinks or food, I went with him. I did not know that he had a serious criminal record, nor did I know his name correctly. I met him with a different name and he told me another one", he declared.

He also showed the dynamics of the event, how the conflict started and how the 37-year-old Nardi Idrizi injured the Greek youth.

Excerpt from the statement:

Saturday night he called me at 2 am. I was sleeping but it didn't impress me because he had broken up two months ago and was mad because his very young girlfriend left him. He told me "I'm not well and I want to go somewhere to drink". I said "let me go I'm so tired I work in the morning and I have a back problem I take medicine and I can't drink I can't leave the house now I can't" I don't have a car. Then he said, "Get up, get ready, and I'm coming to get you." Indeed, he came by car, called me and said: "I have come and I am waiting for you. I quickly dressed and went out."

It wasn't just in the car, it was another person I didn't know. We went to a bar in Kolonaki. I had one drink and the 37 year old about a dozen drinks. Then I said to leave because it was too late and I couldn't take it anymore. I actually asked him if he could walk me home or take a taxi. After all, because of the drugs I take, I no longer drink alcohol. He told me to go have a drink in Gazi and then he will take me straight home via the Attica road. I agreed and went for one more drink. In Gazi I had half a drink. When we left the bar in Gazi, he could not drive the car because of the alcohol. He sees a pizzeria in front of me and says "sit in the car so I can get a pizza to eat". The other person who was with us left, so he and I stayed. He returned with the pizza in hand and ate it in the car. Before finishing he started the car and drove away. It had rained a while ago and because the car was big, it got into a puddle of water and soaked the group of young people who were on the sidewalk.

One of them turned and said: "What the hell are you doing?". He had a bottle in his hand and threw it at her. The car window was down and the 37-year-old man got angry. The jeeps stopped and the other cars that were behind us also stopped. He goes downstairs and asks why. "Who the hell did you say that to?" I also go down to try to hold it. Then the young Greek tells him "well, I didn't call you a bitch". He says "OK" and turns to go to the car. At that moment the two brothers from Crete arrive. He comes up to me and spits in my face. Instinctively I slapped him and then the other guy turns and punches the 37 year old. Then things got out of control and the 37-year-old pulled out a gun and shot them.

I didn't know he had a gun with him. He turns and tells me "get in the car and let's go". I was scared. I didn't tell him anything. I had the feeling that if I told him something, he would shoot me too. As soon as I got in the car I jumped and all I told him is to go to the police and surrender. He wasn't talking. He just said, "I'll take you home." He left me and disappeared. As soon as I got home I started calling my lawyer. We talked and decided together with him to come to GADA and surrender./ CNA
