The weapon seized by the Police

The police arrested a 28-year-old man in Shijak, with the initials RD, after he was caught with a Kalashnikov firearm.

When the young man saw the police officers, he tried to hide the firearm in an area near his apartment in the village of Metallaj.

The services of the Shijak Police Station, maximum commitment to guarantee the rule of law in the territory, the crackdown on criminal activities in the field of illegal possession of weapons and bringing to the fore the criminal responsibility of the citizens who dispose of them.

In the framework of the nationwide operation "Rule of Law", a case of illegal possession of weapons has been investigated.

1 Kalashnikov firearm, a comb and combat ammunition are seized.

The 28-year-old who possessed them, who, when he saw the Police services, tried to hide the firearm, outside his apartment, was put in handcuffs.

The services of the Shijak Police Station, following the work to guarantee the rule of law in the territory, after the information provided by the information intelligence that in the village of Metallaj, Shijak, a citizen possessed firearms in the apartment, have organized the work within the nationwide operation "The rule of law" and as a result they put the citizen in handcuffs:

- RD, 28 years old, resident of Metallaj village, Shijak.

This citizen possessed 1 Kalashnikov firearm, which, when he saw the Police services, he tried to hide it in an area near his apartment. During the search in this area and in the apartment, the Police services found a firearm, a comb and military ammunition, which were seized as material evidence.
