It came from Greece/ New details about the raft that was followed by the Guardia

Other details have come to light about the shelf that was pursued by the Guardia de Finanza.

It was Frontex that spotted the boat, where it is suspected that there were narcotics, and then alerted the Guardia de Finanza and the Albanian police. The chase continued by air and sea.

Meanwhile, it is suspected that the vehicle came from Greece and was destined for Montenegro.  

Meanwhile, a dinghy was found burned in Godull of Kurbin in the area near the hydrovor, and it is suspected that it is the same vehicle that was being pursued by the Guardia de Finanza.

The dinghy caught fire around 03:00 in the morning.

The police informs that so far no illegal person or object has been found, while the investigations continue.

"On 20.07.2022, at around 05:30, at the spillway of the Adriatic Hydrovor, on the seashore, in Godull, Kurbin, it was found by the Police services, a burning vessel. Police services continue combing the area. So far , no illegal person or item has been found. The investigative group continues its investigations to clarify the circumstances of the event" , the police announce./ CNA.al
