Severe in Korçë/ 44-year-old man ends his life, poisoned with phototoxin

A 44-year-old man with the initials FS lost his life in the hospital of Korça.

According to preliminary information, it is suspected that he was poisoned with phototoxin.

Meanwhile, family members have stated that the 44-year-old had mental health problems.

Police notification

On 21.09.2022, in the Korçë Regional Hospital, a citizen of FS, 44 years old, born in Poloskë, Devoll and living in Tirana, died. From the first investigations, it turned out that this citizen had consumed the suspected poisonous substance phototoxin in Bilisht. According to statements received from family members, the 44-year-old had mental health problems.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of the Korçë Judicial District, for further actions./ CNA.al
