Details from the incident in Peqin prison / How Sokol Mjacaj surrendered

Other details have come to light from the incident that shocked Peqin prison today, where one person was killed and another was injured.

The prisoner Sokol Mjacaj, had gone to the ventilation. It is suspected that during that time a weapon was delivered to him by means of a drone.

After taking the gun, it is believed that he called Arben Lleshi and his cellmate Indrit Shaqjan 3 times and fired at them from the window.

As a result, Lleshi lost his life and Indrit Shaqja was shot in the leg. After that, Mjacaj isolated himself and threatened to kill people if his life was not guaranteed.

The director of Peqin prison, Sokol Mjacaj, was the person who negotiated with the author. The latter dropped his weapon and surrendered.

He refused to speak in the prison premises, while he was escorted to the Elbasan Police Department.

Preliminarily, it is suspected that today's killing was ordered, but this has not yet been confirmed by the police./ CNA
