More than 100 police forces are on the ground in Vlora, as Sokol Sinomati, known by the nickname 'buzederri', has received leave from prison and is participating in the motorcycle ceremony of his son Gëzim Sinomati. The latter was killed by snipers at the end of January 7 in the coastal city.

The funeral of the young man is expected to take place at 11:00.

The murder is suspected to have been carried out for payment by people best prepared for this event. So far, neither the cartridge nor the crime weapon have been found and the police have not arrested anyone. 

It is suspected that the perpetrators were in a BMW type car, which was burned in its rear after the timely intervention of the fire brigade caused the vehicle to escape in part.

However, no physical evidence was found inside.

Who is Sokol Sinomati? 

Sinomati is known by everyone as a member of the Gazment Brrakka gang. More than 23 years ago, he got out of his "Benz" type car and shot Sokol Nuho, then 29 years old, in the middle of the day. The latter was armed, and therefore responded in self-defense by firing a pistol while sitting inside the bar.

However, his target escaped as no bullet hit him. Luigj Xhafa, 42 years old, who was riding his bicycle a few meters away, was accidentally killed. He died instantly, being hit by a bullet in the right side of the arm.

At that time, eyewitnesses said that two other passers-by, a man and a woman, were injured.

"Buzderi" had left in the direction of Radhima, where he took shelter in one of the beach villas. He was surrounded by numerous police forces and refused to surrender for a full 3 hours./ CNA
