Serious accident in Peqin/ Two victims and several injured

A serious accident occurred today in Peqin, where a vehicle collided with a van.

According to reports, two victims and several injured are suspected.

"This morning, on the "Elbasan-Peqin" road axis, in the village of Paulesh, the van driven by citizen AB, 44 years old, collided with a "Benz" type vehicle, driven by citizen K. Sh.

As a result of the collision, the driver of the "Benz" vehicle, citizen K. Sh., and citizen F. Sh., 55 years old, a passenger in this vehicle, lost their lives.

Also, the driver of the van, citizen AB, and 4 passengers traveling in the van were injured, who were transported to the hospital for medical assistance and are out of danger.

"Police services and the investigation team are at the scene and continue to work to fully clarify the circumstances and cause of the accident," the police announced. / CNA
