The citizen, GZ 44 years old, doctor on duty at the Pogradec hospital, was prosecuted after being accused of negligence in medical treatment.

The investigation started after the report made by the citizen DM, 37 years old, resident in Fier, who claims that the citizen GZ, on 28.03.2022, at the emergency room of this hospital, did not perform the proper examinations against her brother, the citizen DM, 34 years old, who two days later, died in his apartment, due to a heart attack. 

Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes at the Pogradec Police Commissariat referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office and criminal proceedings began for the citizen GZ, 44 years old, resident in Pogradec, for the criminal offense "Negligence in medical treatment", after the report made by the citizen DM, 37 years old, resident in Fier, who claims that the citizen GZ, on duty doctor in the hospital of Pogradec, on 28.03.2022, at the emergency room of this hospital, did not perform the proper examinations against her brother, the citizen DM, 34 years old, resident in Pogradec, who two days later, died in his apartment, due to a heart attack ", reports the police./ CNA.al
