Peruvian authorities have seized 2.2 tonnes of cocaine, which was to be sent to the Netherlands. During the operation, five people were arrested, while two Albanians who were the brains of this traffic, are wanted.

Foreign media write that Colonel Cesar Echeverria Cabrera has expressed that this operation shows the presence of Albanian mafia links in the country. According to him, it is a network with connections between Colombia, Ecuador and Albania.

 "This operation allows us to learn the presence of an Albanian mafia network in our country. "The cocaine was placed in a box of asparagus and was in a liquid state," he said.
