Drugs from the USA and Thailand, in Albania/ 2 criminal groups are hit

The police have hit 2 criminal groups that trafficked cannabis sativa narcotics from the USA and from Thailand, in Albania, through the postal service.

3 citizens were put in handcuffs, while 3 others, members of these 2 groups, were wanted. 

For the traffic from the United States of America to Albania, the citizen EH, 34 years old, a resident of Elbasan, was arrested in the act, and the citizen ED, 24 years old, was declared wanted.

As material evidence, 2.3 kg of cannabis sativa with a high percentage of TCH, intended to be sold in Elbasan, with a value of 45,000 euros, 170 grams of the suspected narcotic substance cocaine that was found in the apartment of the citizen ED, the amount money, cell phones and vehicles used for this criminal activity.

On the other hand, citizens BL, 19 years old and a citizen 17 years old, both residents of Tirana, were arrested in the act for the traffic from Thailand to Albania, as well as citizens BL, 18 years old and EL, 18 years old were declared wanted.

As material evidence, 1.7 kg of cannabis sativa with a high TCH percentage, intended to be sold in Tirana, with a value of 23,000 euros, sums of money, mobile phones and vehicles used for this criminal activity were seized. / CNA
