Officials working for Moscow's local administration, and federal authorities in the capital, are fleeing the partial military mobilization, according to several media reports.

"In some departments of the local administration, the number of male workers who have fled from Russia has reached 20 to 30 percent of the entire staff," Vyorstka reported.

Information technology specialists, in particular, have fled to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, the site said.
