Elections in Kosovo/ Kurteshi raises concern: They are bringing people to vote

CEC member from the LVV ranks, Sami Kurteshi, has raised concerns, saying that the Serbian List has held an electoral rally in front of its offices and called for voting in an organized manner.

Kurteshi denounced that there are attempts to get people to vote with Serbian identity cards.

"The Serbian List has organized a rally in front of its offices. This is a violation of the Code of Conduct since the election campaign ended at 07:00 with the opening of the polling stations. Today, a rally was held, and that in relation to the number of the population - massive. The second issue is that they went to the polling stations in an organized manner and we have photographs, where the corridors were deliberately blocked to cause problems and incidents... There are also attempts to bring people to vote with non-Kosovo ID cards. I do not see these in the report", emphasized Kurteshi.

He has also requested the deaccreditation of two Serbian media outlets, RTS and Tanjug, for hate speech and propaganda against Kosovo.

"This is the language that the Radio Television of Serbia uses in relation to the elections in Kosovo. That internal hatred towards Kosovo and Albanians. We have a media code of conduct and these are violations of the conduct of political entities and the media... The reason why we have opposed the accreditation of some Serbian media was this - that they did not bring any documents, but only an identity card photographed on both sides, not even a request... I demand that RTS and Tanjug be deaccredited due to the hate speech and disinformation they spread about today's elections", declared Kurteshi./ CNA
