Greece has been shocked by the murder of a 36-year-old man by his wife.

The media of the neighboring country report that the 38-year-old woman with the initials MS threw acid in the face of her husband with the initials GM

The incident happened in a hotel, while the 36-year-old man was sleeping. Immediately after that, the author of the incident ran away from the hotel to escape and was declared wanted by the police.

The GM citizen suffered burns to 10-12% of his face, including the eye area, but is in a stable and non-life-threatening condition.

The latter turns out to be a person with previous criminal records. The 36-year-old from Fodele was recently released from prison after being convicted of five robberies, an attempted robbery, arson and theft, committed between 2012 and 2015.
