Like in the movies/ Two policemen are killed in France, the prisoner escapes

Two French prison officers have been killed and three others injured in an attack near Rouen, Normandy.

The scene happened like in the movies. The prisoner was being sent to the court, when the police car was ambushed by the prisoner's accomplices, where the exchange of fire started.

French prosecutors identified the prisoner as Mohamed Amra, born in 1994. He was convicted of aggravated robbery and charged with kidnapping.

The officers were shot by the prisoner's accomplices, according to French Justice Minister Eric Dupond-Moretti.

Hundreds of police and gendarmes are involved in the action. The attack happened at around 11am near a tollbooth on the A154 motorway.

French President Emmanuel Macron said that everything is being done to find the perpetrators./ CNA
