Silvio Berlusconi is hospitalized again/ His doctors: They are routine checks

The former Italian prime minister, Silvio Berlusconi, has been hospitalized again. The news has been confirmed by his doctors Alberto Zangrillo and Fabio Ciceri.

"President Silvio Berlusconi is currently admitted to the 'San Raffaele' hospital for planned checks related to the known hematological pathology", his doctors announced.

They have stated that the former Italian Prime Minister is undergoing some routine checks and there is nothing to be alarmed about.

Meanwhile, the media have seen Berlusconi's eldest daughter arrive at the hospital. 

We remind you that this is not the first time that the former Italian prime minister has been hospitalized.

He was released from the hospital just a few weeks ago. Specifically, he left the hospital premises on May 19 after 45 days of hospitalization to treat pneumonia, a complication of chronic myelomonocytic leukemia./ CNA.al
