Third exchange/ Hamas releases eight hostages, Israel returns 100 prisoners

Despite some delays and complications, the third exchange between Hamas and Israel has been successfully completed. Hamas released eight hostages, including two German-Israeli nationals and five Thais.

On the other hand, Israel also released 100 Palestinian prisoners who will return to Gaza with transportation provided by the Red Cross, which is part of the service in both camps, facilitating the communication bridge.

Meanwhile, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier also reacted to this exchange, rejoicing at the release of two people of German-Israeli nationality.

"It is difficult to imagine what Arbel Yehoud and Gadi Mozes have experienced. Some of their relatives and friends have been killed, while many others are still being held hostage by Hamas," Steinmeier said. /CNA
