Protesters do not stop/ A police car is attacked in Zveçan

A car belonging to a police unit was attacked today near the municipality of Zveçan.

The news has been confirmed by the Kosovo Police, which informs that "no injuries have been reported" and that they have started investigations into this case.

"The police unit was patrolling near the municipality facility in Zveçan and was attacked by a group of suspected persons with strong tools and stones, and in this case they damaged the official vehicle", says the police response.

This is not the only act of violence in the north of Kosovo. During the last few hours, there have been tensions in front of the municipalities.

At one point, the protesters reportedly objected to the passage of a Kosovo Police car.

Some Kosovo Serbs gathered in front of the institution since the morning, but, due to the heavy rain, they have recently left the street./ CNA.al
