Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti commented today on the political situation in the country, emphasizing that the constitution of the Assembly is the responsibility of all political entities in Kosovo.

Regarding the formation of the government, Kurti said that this is the task of LVV, which has emerged victorious in the elections for the third time.

Kurti stated that Kosovo is not in an institutional crisis.

Kurti made the statements during the 58th meeting of the General Council of the Vetëvendosje Movement, where he also commented on the opposition's opposition to electing Albulena Haxhiu as Speaker of the Parliament.

 "We have the responsibility to form the government, not the constitution of the assembly, this is the responsibility of all parties. This is the third time that we have come out first, all this with a government with a full mandate, since the declaration of independence. We do not have an institutional crisis, but a constitutional vacuum, the law enforcement agencies are operating, the laws are being implemented, only the assembly has not been functionalized. The government always comes out after the assembly is formed, never the other way around", said Kurti./CNA
