Media: Ukrainian intelligence carried out a cyber attack on the Russian party

Specialists of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine have carried out a "large-scale cyber attack" on the resources of the ruling party in Russia, United Russia, a source from this special service told Radio Free Europe on April 26.

According to the data of this service, the party's services and websites, as well as the domains ER.RU and Edinros, are currently under attack.

According to the source, Ukrainian intelligence claims that despite the statement issued by United Russia that "the work of critical digital infrastructure is working", some of the sources have gone out of order.

On the morning of April 26, Russia's ruling party said it had been hit by a major cyber attack.

In March of this year, the Ukrainian Military Intelligence, known by the abbreviation GUR, said that the services of the Ministry of Defense of Russia faced a cyber attack and that Ukrainian intelligence experts had access to secret information of this ministry.

The announcement of the alleged attack comes as the unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, launched by Russia in 2022, continues./ REL
