US climate envoy John Kerry is infected with Covid-19

United States climate envoy John Kerry has tested positive for COVID-19 at the UN climate talks in Egypt.

A spokeswoman for him said he is experiencing mild symptoms and continues to engage in climate talks over the phone. The news follows the failure of the parties to reach a climate agreement by Friday's deadline. The parties will continue climate talks over the weekend.
