Woman spends £4,000, marries herself without any guests

A woman spent more than £4,000 and married herself in a ceremony where no one was invited.

Her divorce came after her marriage to her husband, 45, failed.

Andria Johnson was 31 when she married her husband, 45, in Las Vegas in 2015. The pair divorced in 2018.

Blaming the 14-year age difference for the end of the relationship, she saw a therapist and after a few years "made a breakthrough" and decided to marry herself.

Andria said: I wanted to celebrate my new relationship with myself by doing what I should have done years ago, in my first marriage, I made the mistake of loving someone else unconditionally without giving myself the same love first.

While her family and friends supported her decision, her colleagues saw it as an unusual move./ CNA
