It all started with a parade/ Details emerge from the gunshot wound in Berat

New details have emerged regarding the shooting that occurred shortly after midnight at the entrance to the city of Berat. A 37-year-old man was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds.

According to reports, the entire incident occurred due to a conflict over overtaking by car. The 37-year-old, FT (Xh), was driving with another person on the national axis Kombinat-Dimal.

From the security camera footage of businesses in the area, it was seen that the 37-year-old's vehicle was overtaken several times by another car.

As he got out of the car and went to speak to the driver of the other vehicle, he was shot in the stomach and fell to the ground. At this moment, the person accompanying the 37-year-old immediately notified the police.

After receiving first aid in the city of Berat, the injured man was sent for more specialized medical treatment at the Trauma Hospital. The pair did not provide details about the incident, while the police are continuing their work to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident and identify and apprehend the perpetrators. /CNA
