Kurti confirms it/ Members of the Wagner group operated in the north of Kosovo

The Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, in an interview with the Estonian newspaper  'Delfi' , has shown that there is evidence proving that the Serbs who boycotted the elections in the north were members of the mercenary group 'Wagner'.

The head of the Kosovo government expressed concern about Russia's involvement in the tensions between Serbia and Kosovo.

"We have evidence that some of the Serbs who boycotted the elections were connected to the Wagner group, and some of them were even members of the group. Several members of Wagner and the Night Wolves (a rabid Russian motorcycle club backed by the Kremlin - ed.) came to Kosovo from Serbia last December and have close ties to the two terrorist organizations. And a terrorist organization is sending death threats to me and my interior minister," he said.

He also announced that he has received threats from terrorists regarding the seizure of a large amount of weapons and ammunition in the north of the country by the Kosovo Police.

"Yesterday we confiscated a large amount of ammunition and Kalashnikovs from a house in a municipality with a Serbian majority in the north of Kosovo. Shortly before I came to the interview, I received another threatening letter from the terrorists, which mockingly stated that the weapons we had seized were only a small part of their equipment", said Kurti during the interview./ CNA
