Suspicions about drones from Serbia/ Kosovo Police: We are monitoring the

Kosovo Police Director Gazmend Hoxha said that it is suspected that in recent days there have been drone flights coming from Serbia to the northern part of Kosovo.

He said that the Kosovo Police is in constant communication with KFOR and that they are monitoring the situation.


Hoxha said that these movements could be dangerous for the border area, but not for the citizens of Kosovo, because the police protect them. He stressed that in addition to KFOR, other international partners have also been notified about this issue.

" Over the last few days we have had drone flights that we suspect are coming from the territory of Serbia, in the northern part of Kosovo. The police are in contact with KFOR and we are monitoring what can be done. It is dangerous for the border area but not for our citizens. We are protecting them. While the airspace is the responsibility of KFOR, we have notified KFOR and our partners. KFOR is their responsibility and they are working in this direction ," said Hoxha.
