INSTAT: Trade with EU countries accounts for 55.2% of imports and exports

The Institute of Statistics has shared the data collected from last month regarding the performance of trade in goods by partner countries.

According to INSTAT, in March 2026, the countries with which Albania had the greatest increase in exports, compared to the same month a year earlier, are: Kosovo with 7.2% and Greece with 38.3%.

While the countries with which exports have had the largest decline are: Italy with 7.0% and Spain with 74.3%.

In March 2026, the countries with which Albania had the largest increase in imports, compared to March 2025, are: China with 33.3% and Germany with 15.3%. While according to the data, the countries with which imports had the largest decrease are: Italy with 6.0% and Turkey with 9.7%.

Trade with EU countries accounts for 55.2% of all trade, INSTAT emphasizes.

During the same period, trade in goods with European Union countries accounted for the following totals: exports by 69.4% and imports from EU countries by 49.5%. /CNA
