Journalist: Unjust dismissals will cost the state budget 127 million euros

Journalist Dorina Azo has stated that unfair dismissals from work in the state administration during the period 2015-2022 will cost the Albanian state 127 million euros.

During a television interview, Azo stated that the compensation bill given by the court and according to data from the Ministry of Finance, amounts to 127 million euros.

"We wanted to take stock of how much the final decision bill is for those unfairly dismissed from work. It is a category that has a large number and there is another bill that, in addition to the one who has left work, the other person is also paid. From the data I have received from the Ministry of Finance, only for the period from 2015 to 2022, the total compensation bill for those unjustly dismissed from work, for the entire administration, both local and central, has reached the figure of 127 million dollars. Reimbursement of costs only for court decisions", said Azo./CNA.al
