But even if judges and prosecutors tolerated the famous Erion Veliaj, who lives in another universe and for whom we should have other standards according to him, meeting these foreign lawyers, there is another problem: The Criminal Code clearly states that you can only have two lawyers, you can only be represented by those two. Erion Veliaj has Ermir Beta and Artur Selmani. Both are his defense lawyers, but the law clearly states that a third is not allowed, only two are needed!

But he has nothing to use and is behaving like a fool, as the law clearly states.

Will there be a solution for Erion Veliaj?

He has it on his desk, which is why we emphasize that he is behaving like a fool, because he could very easily remove one of the lawyers he has, either Mr. Selmani or Mr. Betja, and replace them with a foreign lawyer from France, Italy, Germany, etc., perhaps even partners of these law firms that he has chosen from the US and Britain.

He can find European partners, remove the lawyers he has and will have two lawyers, have this foreigner he wants and meet him whenever he wants, because Erion Veliaj has met both Albanian lawyers whenever he wanted and when he wanted and no one has stopped him.

He can remove one of them and get a lawyer from an EU country and meet with him as often as he wants as the law stipulates and not break the law because his name is Erion Veliaj and he can do whatever he wants with the law or the rules as he did with the municipality's projects, with NGOs. This cannot and should not happen in a state governed by the rule of law, in a state of law, where everyone is equal.

Why does Erion have to have 5 lawyers when the law says everyone can only have two?

Why should Erion accept lawyers from Britain and the US when the law clearly states that they must be from EU countries?

Who is Erion Veliaj?
