"The administrative unit has sent a request to the Municipality for a pump. The residents have no water. They take it to the sources. We have spoken with several associations", says the administrator of the unit, Astrit Ramili.

Meanwhile, in Shijak Municipality, the vice president said that such a new pump costs about 15 million old Lek and the procurement procedures are being done.

Deputy Mayor Shijak: It is a very fair concern, but it is also a great concern of ours, not only of the residents. Because we have had to intervene several times to repair the pump, it is a pump that has not given us results because it has special specifications and in these conditions the case has arisen that from time to time there are interruptions with the water supply. Today we are in other conditions that we must install another pump with special specifications that it has as a pump and that we have started the procurement procedure to realize this. According to the legal deadlines and we will make it happen. The solution was temporary because they received water from time to time. But when there was a defect, they were supplied from the sources and from the wells they have.
