Former Minister of Justice: In 2001, a prisoner was released from his cell, the sentence was carried out by another

The former Minister of Justice, Sokol Nako, made a strong statement, as he spoke about people with criminal records and the extradition of Behar Bajri from France.

Nako said on Blendi Fevziu's show that in 2001 he found a case when the prisoner had gone outside and there was another person serving the sentence in his place.

He did not reveal names, but raised suspicions that the person carrying out the sentence may have been paid by the person who was sentenced.

Nako: I have also found cases where there were other people who carried out the sentence in 2001.

Fevziu: Had one gone to prison at the expense of the other? Was he in prison for a salary?

Nako: I believe so.
