He took the place of Begaj/ the new Chief of the General Staff is sworn in as
President Bajram Begaj and Arben Kingji

Today in the Presidency, in front of President Bajram Begaj, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Arben Voke Kingji, was sworn in.

At the swearing-in ceremony, after the performance of the national anthem, the decree appointing the President of the Republic was read. Brigadier General Arben Voke Kingji, with his hand on the Constitution, solemnly swore that: "I will obey the Constitution and the laws in force, I will serve my country honestly and I will protect the interests of the Republic of Albania."

President Begaj handed over the appointment decree and wished Chief of General Staff Kingji good work and success in the important task at the head of the Albanian Armed Forces.

Major officers of the Armed Forces were present at the swearing-in ceremony.

We recall that Begaj himself previously held this position, as Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces./ CNA.al
