Fires in the country/AKMC: 37 fires in total, 27 active and 7 under monitoring

Currently, 34 fires have been reported in the country's territory, of which 27 are active and 7 are being monitored.

The most problematic situation continues to be in the south of the country, with high risk to protected areas, housing and infrastructure.

Vlora Region

Delvina Municipality – The fire that started in Finiq has spread to the territory of Delvina, endangering the city, after the villages of Pecë, Kranë, Krongj, Kardhikaq and Sirakat. The evacuation of residents in the endangered areas continues. The AF helicopter, 2 Greek PZL aircraft, 1 Czech and 1 Slovak helicopter have operated on the ground. The Delvina Municipality is opening protective belts with scrap, while additional air support is required due to the high risk.

Sevaster Village, Unit A. Sevaster – The Selenica fire engine and its crew are on the scene. The flames, fanned by the wind and terrain, are threatening several homes. The evacuation of residents has begun.

Mesaplik Village, A. Brataj Municipality – The fire has reached large proportions, endangering homes. The Vlora fire brigade is intervening with equipment and personnel, while the evacuation of residents continues.

Dropull Municipality – The fire coming from Finiqi has spread from the heights above the village of Goric to the village of Dhuvjan (former military department of Leftokare). 20 forces from the Dropull municipality are keeping it under monitoring. There is no danger to homes.

"Rëzom" Park - "Lucës" Peak - The fire in the area with bushes and forest continues to be active. The rugged terrain does not allow intervention with vehicles, but AdZM will carry out interventions in the early hours of the morning.

“15 Tetori” neighborhood, Vlora – Active fire on the hill behind the municipality. There is 1 fire truck with 3 firefighters on the ground.

Orikum roundabout – Active fire, where 1 fire truck and 3 firefighters are responding.

Dibër District

Ternovo, Zerqan – Bulqizë – The fire has reached large proportions. Forces from the Ministry of Environment, Forestry, the municipality and mining companies, as well as 30 Armed Forces troops, are working.

Mali me Gropa, Biz – Martanesh – Vatër in a protected area, away from inhabited areas. Monitoring by AdZM and the local unit.

Luzni Village – The fire endangered the homes, but operational forces managed to bring it under control.

Xibër Murriz – Klos – Hotbed under monitoring, no risk.

Berat District

Rehovë Village – Poliçan – Large-scale reactivation, affecting the villages of Rehovë, Vokopolë, Zhapokika, Plasnik and Panari, as well as the “Balloll” Protected Reserve. Air intervention is required.

Residents in the village of Vokopolë were evacuated. Armed Forces personnel and forces from surrounding municipalities are also at the scene. The situation is critical.

Mbrakull Village – Poliçan – The fire has passed near the water supply and the city. 35 FA forces, 65 MZSH forces, 15 municipal forces and firefighting vehicles in the area are working.

Velçan Village – Sinjë – Hearth under monitoring.

Orizaj Village – Skrapar Center – Fire in the bush area, being monitored.

Tirana District

Spanesh – Rrogozhinë – Fire near apartments, residents evacuated.

Ferraj and Zall-Herr – Tirana – Firefighters and APR are working on the isolation.

Damjan and Isufaj – Vaqarr – The large fire is advancing towards Pezë Helmë. 20 firefighting forces and vehicles are being deployed.

Mount Bërzhitë – Ibë – Active volcano, no immediate danger.

Gjirokaster District

Hormovë – Tepelenë – Fire threatens homes, residents have been evacuated. All structures are on the ground.

Koshtan – Memaliaj. The fire has spread widely. Residents have been evacuated, but 3 apartments have been engulfed in fire. Firefighters with fire trucks, as well as volunteer forces and the State Police, are positioned in the Tekke square and are working to save the other apartments.

Turan – Tepelena – Two livestock stables have been burned. Ground and air forces are working.

Elbasan District

Kullollas – Gramsh – Aggravated situation, one loss of life has been reported. Residents have been evacuated. Due to the flames, several roads connecting the villages have also been blocked. Measures have been taken in the Gramsh municipality to shelter the evacuated residents.

Mukaj and Sojnik – Gramsh – Problematic situation. Over 150 forces are working to isolate the fire in the area with bushes and thorns. Intervention with 50 operational forces of the Armed Forces has been requested. Firefighting forces from Elbasan and Gramsh are also on the ground near the villages of Snosëm and Sojnik, accompanied by municipal employees and residents of the area.

Shkodra District

Xath – Fushë Arrëz – Over 170 forces and vehicles are being deployed. Thanks to the coordinated intervention, it has so far been possible to save homes that were at risk in the villages of Xhath and Flet. Currently, high-intensity work is being done to isolate and extinguish the fires in several directions, despite the difficult terrain.

Baks–Rrjoll – Velipoje – Fire in the reeds, work is underway to extinguish the fire.
