Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, during a conference, where the plan for the role of women in the local election campaign was widely discussed, called for young figures, talented girls and women, to join the lists. 

Berisha emphasized that the citizens will welcome the figures of women, perhaps even more than the other gender, thus encouraging, in addition to others, every talented girl and woman not to hesitate to run.

Ne kemi të gjithë kalkulimin, kemi gjithë programin për të ardhmen, për t'u dhënë përgjigjen më të shkëlqyer sfidave që na presin, kemi miqtë tanë, të cilët fatmirësisht po kthehen në pushtet, në të gjitha anët e Europës, në Suedi, Itali, Bullgari. E pamohueshme se shoqëritë janë ngopur dhe mërzitur me qeveritë e majta, të cilat kanë hipokrizinë dhe demagogjinë si anët e tyre kryesore përkundrejt nesh që kemi vlera dhe kemi qytetarin të parin.
