Kujtim Cakrani, the lawyer of former president Ilir Meta, gave some explanations regarding the clashes that took place between him and his ex-wife Monika Kryemadhi, in the courtroom at the GJKKO.

Speaking to reporters, Cakrani said that this is a claim by Meta for conspiracy, as one of the witnesses turns out to be a cousin of the Grand Master.

The lawyer stated that time will prove Meta's idea, which, as he emphasized, is not related to the above-mentioned persons.

"You definitely want to link him to Kryemadhi. It was a revolt by Meta. The witness turns out to be Kryemadhi's cousin and by not coming to testify and being indifferent, Meta thinks of him as having conspired against him. Time will prove that there was no conspiracy by him, there are 3 others, from whom he is serving an unjust sentence of 20 months. You heard Meta's submissions, which he made in his own head, I was not aware of. With the conviction he has created, he thinks that the 3 people have caused him to be in detention conditions.
