A candidacy of Fredi Beleri on the European ticket of the "New Democracy" party seems difficult, according to current data.

This is because the Greek Prime Minister and at the same time the chairman of the "New Democracy" party, Mitsotakis, is still working on his final decision.

However, as his associates report, the nomination in question had and still has some points of concern, with the majority not currently wanting Beler to be a candidate.

Prime Minister Mitsotakis told his close aides that he will announce his decision on Saturday, two days before the presentation of the blue "European vote" to be held at the Athens Conservatory.

We recall that a few days ago Fredi Beleri's son and brother were in Megaros Maximos, discussing the available options, while they also participated in the "New Democracy" party conference last weekend.

From the beginning, two opposite proposals were made to the Prime Minister: one to include Beleri, who is preferred by the right-wing public, the other so that Greece does not risk turning it into a European issue, such as the involvement of a convicted mayor in Albania.

Mitsotakis had strong concerns from the start, but seeing his party's leaks, he was beginning to seriously consider involving Beleri.
