Our country's strategic ally, the United States of America, brought two "Black Hawk" helicopters to Albania this Saturday, which are considered the best in the world.

The news was announced by the American Embassy in Tirana itself through a post on "Facebook", where it is emphasized that the new helicopters arrived from the USA will help strengthen the capabilities of the Albanian air force.

"Historical arrival of Albania's first UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters. A United States C-17 transport aircraft arrived in Tirana today to deliver Albania's first order for Black Hawk helicopters, supported by over $50 million in US aid funds. The new helicopters will help strengthen the capabilities of Albania's air force and the ability to conduct medical evacuation, personnel recovery, search and rescue missions, as well as support NATO's logistical movements for operations and exercises. The United States is proud of the strong partnership with Albania in the field of defense," the US embassy said in a statement.

On the other hand, the Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, shared on social networks the photos from the moment the helicopters arrived, while he stated that the security of the country remains the main priority.
