After a life of emigration in Greece, Nesim Pere decided to return to his city to invest in hotel tourism. In addition to the great sacrifices of the family, they managed to build the Pere guesthouse, which actually resembles a luxury hotel. Nesimi tells how he came up with the idea to invest in the construction of this guesthouse in Pogradec.

"The idea of ??the guesthouse was born out of curiosity, from the sacrifices I made in Greece, I ended my life there and then went to Italy. I made a sacrifice by leaving my wife with a small child in Pogradec, and from the fatigue of emigration, it was born to me the idea to make a guest house in Pogradec. I started with 2-3 floors and then I thought of making 5 floors. After that I chose to make it with wood, as an antique thing so that the tourists will know another development. Foreign tourists were approaching and I thought to install an elevator so that pensioners, elderly people and children can go up to the floors of the hostel", said Pere.

On each floor of the building, we find a number of rooms divided according to the uniqueness of each room, starting from single rooms, standard rooms with double beds, and ending with suites. What attracts attention, besides the stone and wood elements, is the kitchen that is located in most of the rooms so that the clients feel at home, and also to be free to cook inside the guesthouse.

"Currently here we are in a suite, with two toilets, heated rooms and a kitchen. In the other wing is another suite. One floor below we have 9 rooms and toilets. On the third floor there are 4 rooms with kitchens and a wood fireplace that will many people like it. There are 20 rooms in total, the environment is very nice," he said.

Tourists usually choose Pogradec for the traditional cuisine that this area offers. A variety of products starting from recceli, as well as cabbage with two noodles, as well as fresh fish pans that we can only find in Pogradec if we choose the southeastern region.

"At Bujtina Pere, it is determined that breakfast is included in the room payment. There you can find cherry and fig jam, traditional dishes such as pancakes, pies, which my lady cooks. There are made-to-order casseroles, fish casserole with onions, cabbage with two noodles , potanik with beans, cabbage with spinach. Lunch and dinner can be consumed according to the customers' requests. We fulfill everything according to the requests, we are also installing a pizza oven for those who like it", he said.

There were many local tourists, but it seems that the largest number are foreigners. Visitors from European countries occupy the largest place of customers, who come mostly in the summer season to spend their holidays in the beautiful city of Pogradec. Even Albanian visitors are not left behind, and the main reason is precisely the city, the lake, and the traditional cuisine of the area. In addition to the summer season, even in the winter for the end-of-year holidays, there has been an influx of tourists who chose accommodation in Pogradec, and more specifically in Bujtina Pere.

I cannot say the impressions myself as they are written on the booking. They are looking for traditional things, the pizza oven that we will assemble soon will be developed. The flow was at the time of need for the city of flowers called Pogradec, for the lake, the fantastic view. For the new year, we have had many requests from family groups, many of them spending their honeymoon. The demands are great and we will meet these demands."

The Pere family, after many years in emigration, has decided to return to the city of Pogradec, thinking of investing in their country.
