After the publication of messages from the arrested mayor Erion Veliaj, where the latter claimed that Olsi Dado addressed him with the word "filth" in court, they were dismissed by SPAK.

In a reaction to CNA, SPAK underlines that the audio of the hearing held on February 12 for Erion Veliaj does not include the words mentioned by the person under investigation, published in the media today.

"The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime informs you as follows: The minutes of the court session dated 12.02.2025, on page 292, numbered by the Special Court for Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO) and the audio of this session do not include the words mentioned by the person under investigation, EV, published in the media today," SPAK's response to CNA states.

CNA has also secured the minutes of the session where the confrontation between prosecutor Ols Dado and Erion Veliaj is revealed, and not a single line contains the word "filth" as Veliaj claims.

His lie has also been rejected by the GJKKO through an official response, underlining: "Given the high and continuous interest on your part, by submitting a request for information, based on Law No. 119/2014 "On the Right to Information", as amended, regarding the authenticity of the part of the minutes of the court session, dated 12.02.2025, published today by the person under investigation Erion Veliaj, on his social network "Facebook", we inform you that it is not true.

"From the verification made in the audio system of the court session for the questioning of the persons under investigation Erion Veliaj, etc., dated 12.02.2025, specifically the time interval 6:34:02 PM - 6:34:57 PM (to which the suspect Erion Veliaj refers in his post) as well as from the minutes of the court session, it does not appear that the word "filth" was used by prosecutor Ols Dado at any time," the announcement states./ CNA
