GJKKO "dethrones" Gent Sula/ The seizure of the apartment is not lifted

The Special Court has rejected the request of businessman Gent Sula to lift the seizure of the 81 square meter apartment located near Garda, which was seized as the property of Jorgo Goro, the former mayor of Himara.

According to SPAK, this was a hidden and undeclared property of the former mayor of Himara, but businessman Gent Sula claimed in court that the apartment was his and that he had left it for his use. However, his claim was not accepted by the court.

For Jorgo Goro, the Prosecution has requested a sentence of 3 years in prison, while also requesting the confiscation of the apartment.

Jorgo Goro is accused of "abuse of office" in 2 cases as well as concealment and failure to declare assets./ CNA
