The "Oncological" scandal is not over/ Rama: Hospitals insult those
Prime Minister Edi Rama

In the "Flasim" podcast, where the Prime Minister, Edi Rama invited Eurosurgeon Kita Sallabanda, he also talked about the scandal of the Oncology hospital at QSUT.

Rama said that this is an unacceptable story and we still need improvement.

"The history of Oncology is indescribable, but we still need improvement. Hospitals curse those who haven't seen them in years. The connections between the public and the private, because of the lessons we learned from the inescapable stories of the Oncologist, we have that the doctor who works in the public can go to work in the private, but he must notify and get approval and the behavior of the patient is somewhat breaking the ethical code," said Rama:

On the other hand, the scandal in Oncology is not over because in addition to broken devices, two essential medicines for the patient's health, "Irinotecan" and "Carboplatin", are also missing. "Irinotecan" is a drug used to treat colon cancer. Meanwhile, "Carboplatin" is used to treat advanced ovarian cancer.

According to an observation of the "Fiks Fare" investigative show, surprisingly, these drugs are sold in private pharmacies near QSUT, even though they are hospital drugs.

The doctors themselves admit the lack of these medications, but they claim that even the X-ray devices are broken and that patients miss several chemotherapy sessions due to the lack of response from the responsible institutions./ CNA
