The Deputy Prime Minister, at the same time the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, inspected this Wednesday the works in segment number 3 of the Qukës-Qafë Plloë road axis.

Balluku said that the financing has been resolved and the work on segment number 3 has started rapidly.

"It is very important that all three construction sites are running as they should. The fact that the financing has already been resolved, has passed all the stages and the approval of the parliament, means that we do not have the financial obstacle. Of course, the geology here will continue to be challenging, as it can be seen even during the work on this site, but the fact that in the other two lots we have been moving with steady steps, that it is not the case to say here with fast steps, shows that the problems can be mitigated", she said.

The minister stated that the Qukës-Qafë Plloë segment will be completed within March 2025.

"The construction site of the third segment has started work once and already at a fast pace as it is expected that this segment will be delivered in March 2025. While the other two segments, the first segment and the second segment, which are in progress on 75% are expected to be delivered in December 2024", Balluku emphasized./ CNA
