The Rector of Fan Noli University of Korça, Lorenc Ekonomi, has spoken about the completion of the first phase of registrations. According to the rector, there is a small increase in registered students, although almost in the same quotas, however, this is positive for the Economy, taking into account the demographic movements.

"At the end of the first phase, we have almost the same number of registrations, even a little more than last year. What we can notice is that this number came as a result of the registrations of the first days where there are also students who have the highest averages There are 381 students registered compared to 375 last year, so we are almost at the same quotas, but it can be considered good considering the demographic movements that are happening continuously."

Information technology, finance, nursing, sports as well as the computer engineering branch that opened for the first time this year are the most preferred branches so far.

"In general, there are registrations in all branches. The most preferred branches are those of information technology, computer engineering that we opened this year as a result of the nationalization we did with the polytechnic university, finance, nursing, sports, and other branches. We are waiting for registrations of phase 2 and 3 and then conclude with our decisions that we will take at the end. There is also interest in the two-year programs."

As for the students, the rector has indicated that most of them are from the southeast, while as for the programs with few enrollments, Ekonomi states that it is too early to say what they are, but confirms that all the programs have students from registered.

"Students are mainly from the southeast, the geography used to be more widespread, but now we remain within the district, very few are from outside Korça. It is too early to say which programs have few registrations, what I can confirm is that they all have registrations."

At the end of the first phase of registrations at the Fan Noli University of Korça, it seems that all the programs have been selected by the students, who have reached the figure of 381 young people.
