Rama shakes the foundations of the government/ Changes half of the cabinet, 7

CNA on February 14, 2026, warned of the dismissal of the government by Prime Minister Edi Rama. CNA said that there would be changes in the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, and in the Ministry of Justice.

Rama has changed half of his cabinet by making the following changes. 

Belinda Balluku leaves office and is replaced by Enea Karakaçi, who takes the position of Minister of Infrastructure and Energy.

Albana Koçiu replaces Belinda Balluku in the position of Deputy Prime Minister.

Besfort Lamallari is appointed Minister of Interior, replacing Albana Koçiu.

Toni Gogu takes the post of Minister of Justice, replacing Besfort Lamallari.

Ferit Hoxha is appointed Foreign Minister, while Elisa Spiropali leaves office.

Ermal Nufi takes over as Minister of Defense, replacing Pirro Vengu.

Eriona Ismaili is appointed Minister for Parliamentary Relations, replacing Toni Gogu./ CNA
