SPAK Head Altin Dumani, at the hearing in the Laws Committee, provided an overview of the spread of crime and the level of risk posed by crime according to its types.

Dumani said that money laundering and drug trafficking pose a high risk, while human trafficking poses a medium risk, but the secrecy of this activity affects it.

" Crime poses a risk because of its sophistication.

Money laundering has experienced a progressive increase. Drug trafficking has decreased slightly but remains a risk.

Human trafficking has a medium risk due to the secrecy of the operation.

Cocaine is obtained in Latin American countries such as Bolivia and Ecuador.

"The groups are active in Tirana, Durrës, Elbasan, Vlora ," said Dumani.

Regarding corruption, Dumani said that its investigation should be a national priority because the risk remains high.

The head of SPAK said that corruption violates the integrity of institutions and the rule of law. Dumani said that illegal influence is the most frequent activity of corruption.

"Indicators show an increase in investigations, only 5.9% have been asked to be fired, 1% have been suspended, 67% continue to be under investigation.

The risk level for corruption remains high, undermining the integrity of institutions.

Exercising illegal influence remains at a medium risk level and is the most frequent activity.
