Theologian Ermir Gjinishi said today that it is fortunate for the Albanian reality and for the Orthodox Church that we have an Archbishop like Joan. Gjinishi emphasized the rare human and ministerial values ??of the youngest elected head of the Albanian Orthodox Church.

In a television appearance, Gjinishi said that Archbishop Joani is from Fan Noli's school, and a student of Janullatos, as he mentioned Joani's preparation and journey until his election to the new position.

Gjinishi emphasized that Archbishop Joan is an accomplished personality.

"So I was saying that it is fortunate for the Albanian reality, for the Orthodox Church, to have such an Archbishop. Of course, we have had endless debates, even about whether history is Greek or not, as people do in these discussions.

It is time to also remember the Archbishop, who passed away a short time ago. An extraordinary personality.

Bishop Joan is from Fan Noli's school, in terms of his education, but also one of Janullatos' students since 1993 and in 1992 he met him for the first time and Archbishop Janullatos invited Joan here.

He directed the Theological Academy in Albania and was its Dean.
