Journalist Ola Xama, in a post on social networks, commented on some of the statements made last night on the "Opinion" show of Prime Minister Edi Rama. 

She rejected the Prime Minister's statement that SPAK is blocking an investment worth 200 million euros in the port of Marina Limion in Saranda. According to the journalist, this contract is worth only 13.4 million euros. 

For the Porto Romano project, Xama underlined that the land has been occupied and construction will be done without permission. 

The journalist further underlined that the prime minister is afraid to blame private companies that have violated contracts for public projects for years. 

"He said that Albania, together with the new justice that is operating, was made by the Socialist Party, but the fault for the Kukës bridge that has not been completed is not with them, but with the DP, which did not finish it for 8 years. Meanwhile, it took 2 years to start it the construction of the SP government in 2003 and 10 years in power, which has been in power for the last few years, does not find any responsibility. It is afraid to blame the private companies that have violated the contract for years", she says, among other things.

The Prime Minister declared that SPAK is blocking an investment worth 200 million euros in the port of Marina Limion in Saranda. He should explain to us where he found this figure, because the contract approved with Kastrati and Edil-Al companies is 1.37 billion ALL, or 13.4 million euros.

He said that he does not comment on the decisions of justice, but in this case he did not forget to add that the pockets of Albanians (their taxes) were at the mercy of companies that 'thank God' are Albanian because they could turn to the International Court of Arbitration.

He forgot to add that one of these companies is also at the mercy of justice for occupying land and building without permission in the area of ??the industrial park in Porto Romano, or that the Arbitration court protects investors only when it finds that politics and not justice intervenes (the case Beccetti).

He was contradictory when he said that it was chosen for the commercial port in Porto Romano to be built with the procurement of public funds so that the work and the resulting income would remain with the state, because it falls to him that he did not protect the interests of the state in the case of the concession on Thumanë Street -Kashar where the company projects to earn for the years of the contract approximately 1 billion euros, or of the maintenance of the Milot road -Morina where the concessionaire has long passed the basic profit scenario and many other similar ones.

The truth is that investors were invited, banks were begged, but no one found the project feasible, because there is no feasibility study. There is no serious firm that comes to invest 400 million euros without having this security, except when it pretends to invest, but ends up donating islands and land on the coast to restaurants with gentlemen's agreements.
